Cyber Monday Sale, AMuse Studio Style

In addition to a fabulous December Spotlight, Cyber Monday has a special all of it's own! You can order directly from my website or contact me with any questions! I'd LOVE to chat with you.

Click here for full sized PDF flyer, and below is a list of the sets for this LIMITED TIME sale:

Item #/Item Description/ Sale Price
SAAHERO hero mail clear set $1.00
SNSD006 sunshine & shade $2.00
SNSH019 cup of good wishes $3.00
SNSF015 let’s chat $4.00
SHMM006 my aim is true $5.00
SVSE004 go green $6.00
SNSK070 perfectly polished $7.00
SJEP014 past due $8.00 (my personal favorite, of course!)
SNSQ060 brief notes $9.00
SHMP009 victorian charm $10.00

Sale pricing is limited to stock on hand, AMuse Studio will not backorder items when stock is depleted. Sale begins at 12:01am on December 2, 2013 and ends at 11:59pm EST on December 3, 2013. The stamp sets that are part of our Take Ten Sale will come packaged in a clear cello bag.
The nice thing is that you can combine specials -- the December Spotlight is all about Christmas (although I love how they snuck in the Birthday Builder set to do double duty!), with soft non-traditional colors. I can not wait to stamp the Aspen background in Pistachio on Kraft, or, as in the Studio photo below, embossed in white ON Pistachio:

I love everything about this card, way to go AMuse Studio designers!

Click for a full-size PDF

I am working on finishing up a project for my mother-in-law's Christmas gift and will post some of that this week. It's a box of cards, but I realized that as I saved up cards for this I seemed to have missed birthday (I guess I gave those away throughout the year), so I need to do a few of those and some of the "OTHER" category -- sympathy, hello, wedding -- where just a few is sufficient. The box is a Stampin' Up box that I got a couple of years ago -- I don't think they sell it any more (probably because the template to cover it is the reason it's taken me a couple of years to get this far!) but it will be perfect for this gift!

Enjoy & happy stamping!

Thankful for You!

In addition to the monthly Spotlight, the November 'Thankful For You' promotion offers you a savings of 20% on some amazing A Muse Studio products. These products were specially selected to help you with holiday crafting, and include some really interesting accessories in addition to holiday stamp sets -- so you can really turn up the bling, in a variety of styles! Add in the Happy Fall Spotlight sets and there really is something for everyone!

Be sure to check out the special paper packs put together for this sale -- what a great way to get coordinating sheets to make your project! The fine print: Sale pricing is limited to stock on hand, we will not backorder items when stock is depleted. Sale begins at midnight on November 1st and ends at 11:59 pm EST on November 30.

I'm happy to have made it through "Band-tober" where we had a marching band contest EVERY Saturday (sometimes 2 in one day) and at least once during the week, in addition to early practice. Friday night was the fundraiser dinner and my husband and I ran the Silent Auction tables -- as Freshman band parents we had NO IDEA how much work that would entail!! But it was a great evening, the 2 local middle school bands performed in addition to the high school band. I think it's as much a recruiting tool as a fundraiser, since the 8th graders get to see the FUN that the band has, and how good they are (and they really are!)

I didn't have a chance to make Halloween goodies for the people at work -- so I'd better start planning something for Thanksgiving or they'll think I don't like them anymore ;-), but I was able to put together a quick thank you for the neighbors that hosted the 15th Annual Halloween Block Party in my new neighborhood. With a spiderweb from Cricut to mark the post-Halloween theme on the pinstriped paper, I was able to just use the Vintage Label 1 dies (with a little orange distressing) and one of the lovely sentiments from the Thankful for You set to tie something together (the inside says "so very much" from Thank You Mix).

Today I have a trip to IKEA planned, and my craft room will be one MAJOR step closer to completion (until I get another idea to add, anyway . . .). I'm getting 2 long Expedit shelves to use as a workspace, so I'll finally be able have things in a good space for working (the square shelves are perfect for 12X12 items -- I'll have to see how many Cricut cartridges each will hold, though. I might need one row of shelves just for that collection) AND I'll have a space for others to craft with me. I'll post a photo when I have the room together, but it might be a Christmas Break project to really put the thought in to make it work "just right."

Happy Stamping!

Each Fight Like a Girl stamp set includes a "push-pin" stamp that women can use to stamp their calendar each month to serve as a reminder to do a self-exam, which is so critical for early detection. There will also be information on breast health included with each stamp set.

In addition Amuse|Studio encourages you to THINK PINK by putting all things pink ON SALE (even some Valentine's sets!) for the month:

You'll find this pack under the retiring items category - item number PAPPASR.

I will post some of the cards I have made in the last month, between house shopping and having a birthday of my own. Unfortunately, too many have been sympathy cards lately, but I also sent my dad a birthday card with a hand-stamped calendar (so he has something from his only daughter every month of this year!) and I will be sure to share that, as well!

Although it is not likely that we'll see any snow here in San Antonio -- which is a large part of our reason for living here -- I will admit, I still like to stamp snow. The January Spotlight features cool winter colors, snowflakes and winter scenes, perfect for this chilly weather!

How cute is this?! From the studios of A|Muse Studio

September Spotlight: Study Hall

With all the Hoopla going on it might be easy to forget that A|Muse Studio has a whole catalog of other great stamps and accessories -- but that is where the monthly Spotlight comes in as a reminder. And this month is no exception to the fresh and fun inspiration ideas that come from the Studio. Look at these bright colors!
I tell you from experience -- Sticky note holders make great gifts!

As a card or a bookmark this is sure to brighten some one's day!

Note cubes -- another great gift! This one especially caught my eye -- what a great and inexpensive gift! My son attends a magnet school with a rocketry focus, so I guess my Christmas teacher gifts have been planned for me!

And I love how versatile this project is!

Let me know if you need a copy e-mailed -- this *is* rather small

For one month, you can save 10% on the stamp sets used to create these fabulous projects!
Greetings Earthling
Rock Star
Love Conquers All
Thank You Mix
Calendar Fun

And, for a limited time, order the special Study Hall cardstock assortment pack (4 sheets each of the colors used in these bright and fun projects):
Currant
Grapefruit
Lido
Fern
Cocoa

But, don't fret -- the Hoopla continues as well, and through the end of September any workshop of at least $150 (with a minimum of 3 customers) nets the Hostess this EXCLUSIVE set, Dwell in Possibility (in addition to extra hostess benefits!):

I am going to use this set for a friend that has been putting off getting her transcripts so she can return to school -- and probably for encouragement along the way once she starts.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for the monthly A|Muse Studio Blog Hop. The theme is "All things Autumn" and I, for one, can't wait to see what the rest of the group has come up with! Plus, I have a fun card made with a set and die from the holiday catalog to show off!

Until tomorrow -- Happy Stamping!

August Spotlight: Summer Fun

August Spotlight
This month's Spotlight is so bright and summery, it reminds me of lazy summer days and trips far away.

The featured stamp sets are:
vacationland
wish you were here
let's be adventurers
enjoy the ride
extraordinary background

And the fun featured color palette includes:
blush
apricot
papaya
orange
bermuda

Check out this month's project from the A|Muse Studio: Create your own mini book! The possibilities really are endless with a|s coasterboard, cardstock, embellishments, and – of course – stamps!
A nice way to customize your mini-album, and set the feel -- and I love the handwritten label, a theme carried throughout this adorable mini travel album!
Dress up a favorite photo with a strip of ribbon. That's all.

Simple but elegant -- washi tape and ribbon

I love the idea of creating a clear overlay to match my project -- and MUCH less expensively, too! Our clear cardstock with cotton white Staz-on -- or even white embossing powder for that extra "pop" -- make this so easy!
Holiday Hoopla is still going on, but I wanted to stop looking ahead to the hectic holidays and hold on to the feel of those lazy days of summer just a bit longer . . .

Happy stamping,
Christina

July Spotlight: Olympic Party

The new spotlight is up and there are some fantastic projects to share as we celebrate the Red, White and Blue!

For the month of July, you can save 10% on the stamp sets used to create these fabulous projects!
British Invasion
Keep Calm
Big Celebrations
Darling Dots Background
On Broadway Alphabet

I must confess, British Invasion is the set that hooked me on A|Muse -- My husband was born in London and although my in-laws have been in the states 30+ years they might as well have just come over. The accent is still strong! My husband has lost most of his, but it's pretty obvious when he's been talking to his family -- since it seems to well up from a hidden spot. And he'll use phrases that leave me scratching my head, such as "happy as Larry!" which is apparently a reference to Lazareth. Um, yeah.

And, for a limited time, order the special Team USA cardstock assortment pack - an easy way to get the look showcased in this month's spotlight.
Team USA Assortment Pack contains four sheets each of: Navy, Sky, Cherry, Pebble, Vanilla
Tomorrow I'll post a photo of the thank you card that went out in today's mail for a catalog party order -- I used 2 of this month's spotlight sets, and 2 of the paper colors (without even trying -- that's how well they go together!)

Happy Stamping!

It also means that tomorrow is the monthly A Muse Consultant Blog Hop, so be sure to come back and follow the trail to some fun projects!

Happy Stamping,

This month's spotlight is all about the Garden Party. The colors are fun and the sets great Spring and Summer themes -- that can be used all year long. In addition to those on the flyer, check out these cute projects:

And, to make this month's spotlight even sweeter: All A Muse Studio inks are 20% off for the month of May. This special pricing is for all A Muse Studio branded single ink pads (no collections). It's a great time to grow your collection, grab that "perfect color," or just try something new!

May Flowers: A*Muse Blog Hop

If you are participating in the A*Muse|Studio blog hop, you should have come from Tami Grandi's blog and if not, then you should start from the beginning with Samantha's blog until you come to my blog.

I am happy to be participating in my first blog hop! The theme is May Flowers, and I must say that although I only own one A*Muse Studio flower set (remember, I'm still new) I had a hard time choosing which of the (many) cards I created this week to showcase! I am getting ready for my Business Launch Open House on Saturday, so I used one of the May Spotlight sets, Marvelous Marigolds. I love the versatility of this set– I was able to make bold statements and soft whispers just by changing the color of my ink and placement of my images!
Set: Marvelous Marigolds
Paper/ink: Sky (Gingham)
Sets: Marvelous Marigolds & Essential Sentiments
Paper/ink: Papaya, Orange, Tuxedo Black

Now, on to your next stop: Angela Kelley's blog.

With the new month comes a new A*Muse Spotlight -- as well as special pricing on the sets and coordinating paper used to make the projects included!

I love to see what others have done with the month's spotlight sets, and there are some really cute ideas here! Here are a couple of others that the talented design team shared:

Animls are from the little peanuts set -- nicely done!

Let me know if you want to know more, and happy stamping!
